# EdCommGlobal Privacy Policy

Effective August 22, 2026. This policy explains the information EdCommGlobal handles through edcommglobal.com, why it is used, which service providers support the site, and how to make a privacy request. It applies to website visits and consultation inquiries; a separate agreement may govern information exchanged after a family becomes a client.

## Information handled

The consultation form asks for an inquiry category, school or online-course context when relevant, name, email address or phone number, a message, required privacy consent, and optional marketing consent. Do not include passwords, financial account information, government identifiers, medical records, immigration documents, or unnecessary information about a child in an initial inquiry. The site also receives ordinary technical data such as page views, browser or device information, IP-derived general location, and security signals.

## Uses and service providers

EdCommGlobal uses inquiry data to answer requests, assess service fit, arrange follow-up, maintain a record of the request, protect the form, and send updates only when optional marketing consent is given. Valid inquiries are stored as tickets in HubSpot. Cloudflare Turnstile evaluates security signals and validates a short-lived token to distinguish people from abusive automation. A keyed hash derived from the requesting IP address is stored briefly in Upstash Redis to enforce a five-submission limit during a ten-minute window; the form code does not store the raw IP in that rate-limit key. Google Analytics measures visits and page use after the site becomes interactive.

These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices: [HubSpot privacy](https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy), [Cloudflare Turnstile privacy](https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/), [Upstash privacy](https://upstash.com/trust/privacy.pdf), and [Google privacy for partner sites](https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

## Choices, retention, and requests

Marketing consent is optional and may be withdrawn. Browser controls or Google's Analytics opt-out tools can limit analytics cookies. EdCommGlobal keeps inquiry records only for as long as reasonably needed for follow-up, service records, security, dispute prevention, and applicable legal obligations; the exact period can vary with the inquiry and any later client relationship. Data may be processed in the United States or other locations where EdCommGlobal and its providers operate.

To request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of marketing consent, email info@edcommglobal.com with enough information to locate the request. EdCommGlobal may need to verify identity before acting. Parents or guardians should make requests concerning a minor. The policy may be updated when site practices or providers change; the effective date above identifies the current version.
